1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Deal N Drive website and any purchase of a vehicle from Deal N Drive Ltd.

By using our website or purchasing a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our Vehicles

All vehicles listed on our website are used vehicles. We take care to ensure that all descriptions and photographs are accurate at the time of listing. However:

  • Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings.
  • Mileage shown is accurate at the time of listing and may increase slightly due to test drives, vehicle movements, or preparation.
  • We reserve the right to amend prices and withdraw vehicles from sale at any time without notice.
  • A vehicle is not considered sold until a deposit or full payment has been received and confirmed by us.

3. Vehicle Checks and History

Every vehicle we sell undergoes an HPI check to verify it is free from outstanding finance, has not been recorded as stolen, written off, or scrapped, and that the mileage is consistent with records. An HPI certificate or check report is available upon request for any vehicle.

4. Vehicle Condition

All our vehicles are sold as used vehicles and will show wear consistent with their age and mileage. We describe any known faults or cosmetic issues in the listing. It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the vehicle (or arrange an independent inspection) before purchase.

We encourage all buyers to view and test drive any vehicle before committing to purchase.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices listed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer or other methods agreed with us in advance.
  • We do not accept cash payments over £1,000, in line with anti-money laundering regulations.
  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to reserve a vehicle, the amount and terms of which will be agreed at the time of reservation.

6. Consumer Rights — Your Right to Return

If you are a consumer (i.e. purchasing for personal use, not for business), you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Satisfactory quality: the vehicle must be of satisfactory quality, taking into account its age, mileage, and price.
  • Fit for purpose: the vehicle must be fit for the purpose for which vehicles of that kind are commonly used.
  • As described: the vehicle must match any description we have given, including in listings and in conversation.

Within 30 days of delivery/collection:

if the vehicle does not meet any of the above standards, you are entitled to a full refund (the “short-term right to reject”).

After 30 days but within 6 months:

we have one opportunity to repair or replace the vehicle. If the repair or replacement is unsuccessful, you are entitled to a refund (which may be reduced for use you have had of the vehicle).

After 6 months:

you must prove that the fault was present at the time of purchase. We will consider repairs on a case-by-case basis.

These rights are in addition to any warranty provided. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Warranty

Unless stated otherwise, all vehicles come with a 3-month warranty provided by WarrantyAssist. The warranty covers mechanical and electrical faults subject to the terms outlined in the warranty documentation provided at the point of sale. Details of WarrantyAssist's coverage, claims process, and exclusions will be included with your warranty paperwork. The warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear items (e.g. tyres, brake pads, clutch, wiper blades, bulbs, batteries).
  • Cosmetic damage or pre-existing faults disclosed at the time of sale.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or failure to maintain the vehicle.
  • Vehicles used for commercial purposes (e.g. taxi, delivery, hire) unless agreed in writing.

Full warranty terms will be provided at the point of sale.

8. Part Exchange

We welcome part exchanges. Valuations are provided based on the information you supply and are subject to physical inspection of the vehicle. We reserve the right to adjust or withdraw a valuation if the vehicle's condition differs materially from what was described.

9. Distance Sales (Online/Phone Purchases)

If you purchase a vehicle without viewing it in person (i.e. over the phone, by email, or online), you may have additional rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013:

  • You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to cancel the contract and return the vehicle for a full refund.
  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as delivered, allowing for reasonable inspection.
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the vehicle to us.
  • We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the vehicle back.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability for any claim arising from the sale of a vehicle is limited to the purchase price of that vehicle.
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses (e.g. loss of earnings, travel costs) except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Complaints

If you have a complaint about a vehicle or our service, please contact us:

We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 working days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may refer it to:

  • Citizens Advice Consumer Service: citizensadvice.org.uk or 0808 223 1133
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): we can provide details of an approved ADR provider upon request.

12. Website Use

  • The content on our website is provided for general information only.
  • We make reasonable efforts to keep the website up to date, but we do not guarantee that the website or its content will always be available, accurate, or error-free.
  • You must not misuse our website by introducing viruses, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Deal N Drive Ltd and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
